Welcome to Dublin! You’ve come to a great place. Dublin is Ireland’s capital and the country’s biggest city. There are plenty of opportunities for you here as a student. A vibrant nightlife, plenty of beautiful sights to explore, a multitude of great schools, colleges and universities are only some of the good things. There are however several obstacles you will inevitably face. High cost of living and hard-to-find accommodation tend to be most relevant. Don’t worry, we are here to help you make the good better and the bad easier, less stressful. This article will help you build a checklist of things you should get sorted as soon as possible.

1. Enrol in a Course

Find a course you wish to study and apply for it!

2. Setup a Bank Account

A bank account will be needed for your student visa and will also help in many other aspects

3. Apply for a Student Visa

Gather your documents and be prepared for some queuing. Let’s get it done and over with.

4. Find a Part-Time Job

You’re getting good at this! Now let’s find a job. A regular income will open more opportunities for you to explore and enjoy your adventure in Dublin.

5. Find a Good Place to Live

Finding a nice spot in Dublin can be challenging but not impossible. Let’s go over where you should be looking and what to avoid.
