DART, buses, and cycle paths offer a convenient way of commuting to and from the City Centre. The downside of the area is that the employment opportunities in Dublin 5 are fairly limited.

Killester, Harmonstown and Raheny stations provide access to DART. DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) is a quick and easy way to get around Dublin. It runs along the coast of the Irish Sea from Malahide or Howth in north County Dublin southwards as far as Greystones, Co Wicklow.

Dublin 5 is served by multiple bus routes via Malahide Rd and Howth Rd.
Getting to the Airport
Dublin 5 is not well connected to Dublin Airport via public transport. One option is to go to the City Centre but the most optimal solution seems to be to simply use a taxi.
