It's been 87 days since the first case of Coronavirus was reported in Ireland. As we enter the 2nd half of 2020 the number of Covid cases continues to drop across Ireland.

Earlier this week, on May 25th the number of Covid-19 related deaths was 0 for the first in a long time. In fact, the last day with 0 recorded Covid-19 related deaths was 21 March.

Book I'm reading -- Remote: Office Not Required by Jason Fried & David Heinemeier Hansson

I've written about remote work on dublin4you before. I think that the switch to Working From Home will be more permanent that some of us think. I also think we should invest our time in educating ourselves more about how to make the most of the New Normal.

'Remote' is probably the best resource available currently. It explores both the possibilities and pitfalls of teleworking.

The authors, Jason Fried & David Heinemeier Hansson, the founders of Basecamp, argue persuasively that there are far more benefits to working from home.
