MyGovID account offers a single login for a range of government services in Ireland.
Registering for MyGovID is a two-step process.
Setting up a basic account is straightforward. Simply go to https://www.mygovid.ie/, click Get a basic account now and complete the form. At this stage all you need to provide is your name and email address.
Basic MyGovID account will allow you to make an appointment to request a PPS Number and a Public Services Card. You will need them to verify your MyGovID account.
With your Basic account, PPS Number, Public Services Card, and your mobile phone ready, you can proceed to verify your MyGovID account.
Verified MyGovID account gives you access to a growing list of services such as:
- Revenue (Tax services)
- Driving License application
- Student Support (SUSI)
- Voting Register
